This painting is about a road trip, where the windshield transforms into a traveling movie screen.

I wanted to freeze the memory of how it feels from the inside looking out, capturing not just the landscape, but the feeling of moving through it - looking over the driver's hands and through the windshield to view a storybook landscape.

The road is going somewhere, but we don’t know where. I like that little bit of mystery. Maybe that’s the point.
