This ’41 Studebaker pickup was sitting in a shed in a little New Mexico town on Route 66 just waiting to be celebrated on canvas. The big showy grill looked particularly appealing and painting it was a fun challenge.

I see a sentimental beauty in beat-up old pickup trucks - maybe because I learned to drive on one? …When I was 12!!
