This painting began with a photo I took of a young couple on a bridge in Kentucky, a few years ago. I was touched by this small, tender moment between them - a pause in the middle of an ordinary day when they seemed completely focused on each other. The couple became a big part of my life while I was painting them, and the experience reminded me how meaningful those small moments of connection can be. Sometimes, a simple gesture says more than words.
I was honored that my painting was accepted into Summer Serendipity, a juried exhibition of Southeast Regional Artists and chosen to represent the exhibit online and on promotional postcards - such a wonderful validation of my work!🥰
